With a rich, viscous feel, which lingers not only on the palate, but on the lips, this is a true crowd-pleaser. Deep, dark, juicy plum strikes the palate, while hints of blackberries and blueberries dance around it all. It has a great balance of fig jam to roundly finish this dessert.
Who needs to count calories and worry about carbs when you have a wine such as this that will easily replace any dessert you can think up. If you are a true sugar junkie, feel free to drizzle a little bit of this port over some vanilla bean ice cream, or even replace the water used in brownies with this port. Just be sure to put some into your glass as well, for nothing pairs with this port quite as well as a little bit more.
