The old vine Zin fruit creates a wine of intense color, aroma, and flavor. A deep ruby hue presents a wine of ripe red fruit aromas and toasty oak . On the palate, concentrated berry flavors mix with oak and cinnamon-spice complexities. Aging for 20 months in French and American oak barrels softens the well-structured tannins for a long and graceful finish.
The Old Vine Zinfandel will stand up to full flavored meats and sausage on the grill, and is ideal with venison and game dishes.
