Bella Piazza Montepulciano. This variety is rare in California and we are proud to be one of just two wineries here that produce it. This wine is grown on Bella Piazza property, and we are pleased to be offering a new varietal.

The Montepulciano grape yields a dark, rich flavorful wine with excellent balance. Our Abruzzo variety is similar in taste to our Sangiovese, but darker and more full bodied. As one friend put it, the flavor is of a European style with a Californian twist.
